East Midlands SMEs trading overseas can benefit from expert diplomatic insight

East Midlands Chamber has welcomed a new Diplomatic Advisory Hub that gives firms access to timely geopolitical insight and strategic advice.

Delivered jointly by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and the British Chambers of Commerce, the hub helps with understanding of new regulation, responding to geopolitical shocks and anticipating trends in global trade.

East Midlands Chamber Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: “We know that trade delivers growth which is why working hard to support more businesses across our network to tap into overseas markets.

“Working with the Foreign Office, the new Diplomatic Advisory Hub will do just this, supporting firms across the East Midlands to shine on the world stage.

“In turn, these opportunities will mean more investment into local communities and more good quality jobs for hard-working people across the region.”
