NOCN Group to become Chamber patron

East Midlands Chamber has announced NOCN Group is to be a patron.

NOCN Group is an international charity that delivers skills solutions described as ‘future-fit with social impact’ for colleges, training providers, employers and individuals.

In addition to a subsidiary in India – the NOCN India Skills Foundation – the Group also operates in Africa, ASEAN, Europe, the Gulf, South Asia and other international territories, spanning 32 countries.  Over 2024 and 2025, NOCN Group developed 49 new qualifications, designed to advance skills across: preparation for life & work; construction and the built environment; engineering, manufacturing and the green economy; health and social care; education and management.

Becoming a patron of the Chamber will enable NOCN Group to engage with the Chamber’s 4000 members across the East Midlands and to play a role in the shaping of policy when the Chamber meets with political leaders.

East Midlands Chamber Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: Upskilling the workforce and workforce of tomorrow is a key ingredient to growth. NOCN Group’s work in widening opportunities to learners, providers and employers is significant – an organisation the East Midlands can be proud of.

“I am delighted to welcome NOCN Group as a patron of the Chamber and look forward to close collaboration.”

NOCN Group Head of Business Development Laura Randall said: We’re really pleased to be partnering with East Midlands Chamber to strengthen our commitment to supporting skills development across the region.

“The Chamber’s close relationships with local businesses and communities make them an ideal partner in developing the skills employers and individuals need.”
