The Generation Next Summer Festival and Awards is where good vibes meet great people. It’s all about celebrating the East Midlands’ young professionals in a laid-back, festival-style setting, think live music, tasty street food, drinks in hand, and sunshine (fingers crossed!).

It’s the perfect mix of catching up with friends, making new connections, and giving a big cheer to the region’s rising stars. A feel-good evening to relax, have fun, and celebrate success together.

Overview

We’re teaming up with our amazing Generation Next partners, including headline sponsor University of Derby, to throw a summer celebration like no other. We’ll be handing out 12 awards to some seriously inspiring young professionals, from apprentices and entrepreneurs to future leaders.

But it’s not just about the awards. We’re taking over Electric Daisy, one of the coolest spots in Derby, and turning it into a mini summer festival. Your ticket gets you street food, two drinks vouchers, and live music. It’s chilled, fun, and a chance to chat, connect, and celebrate everything Generation Next is about.

This isn’t your average networking night — and that’s exactly the point.
