As a Commercial Partnerships Executive, you will take ownership of key partner, sponsor, and high-value member relationships. You’ll ensure the successful delivery of commercial agreements, grow our strategic accounts, and provide outstanding customer service that drives satisfaction, engagement and renewal.

You are the centre of creating successful collaboration, working across departments to coordinate deliverables and demonstrate tangible impact for agreements. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Chamber’s ongoing success while supporting the growth of businesses across our region.

Overview

Key areas of responsibility

  • Manage a dedicated portfolio of strategic partners, patrons, and sponsors, ensuring delivery of agreements to the highest standard.
  • Act as a trusted contact, maintaining regular communication and nurturing relationships across a variety of sectors.
  • Identify upselling and renewal opportunities, presenting tailored commercial proposals to maximise value for both the Chamber and the client.
  • Lead on new business development with high-potential Chamber members, upgrading them into commercial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Policy, Media, Membership and more) to coordinate and execute partnership deliverables.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of partner activity through media value, ROI and performance tracking, using data-driven insights to inform action.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, supporting strategic planning and personalisation of service.
  • Create and manage Account Action Plans for every partner, driving retention and revenue growth.
  • Represent the Chamber with professionalism and commercial awareness, always championing our mission and member interests.

If you’re successful at this stage, you will be invited for an interview. If you’re unsuccessful, the Chamber’s HR team will let you know by email.

First, you’ll be invited to an in-person interview at one of the Chamber’s offices. If your interview goes well, you may invited to attend a second interview or offered the role. Some interviews might require you to compile some research or to prepare a presentation. At the end of the interview, the interviewer will confirm the timeline for next steps.

Interviews usually last around an hour with a mix of competency based interview questions, and in some cases, we might ask you to carry out some practical exercises.

Decisions will be made at each stage of the process, as we score applicants against the role criteria. If you’re successful, we will contact you to make an offer. This will be followed up in writing and a contract will be sent to you once a start date is confirmed. You will receive information on your induction and what you will do on your first day. If you have any questions, please just get in touch.
