Now you can use AI prompts to develop website pages, code solutions, and even build the apps you never thought you could. Rapid changes in the world of programming have been bought about through the abilities of AI. The term “Vibe coding” describes how you can now use your creativity to build solutions using only AI prompts, even if you are a non-technical person. Wow!

Not everyone is a software developer, or has dreamt of becoming one, but with AI you can bring to life those ideas that previously would require big budgets and a specialist team to realise. During this workshop you’ll learn the basics, gain practical experience, and leave the day prepared to start vibing your way to technical solutions you can use in your own business.

**This workshop is open to established businesses located in Amber Valley, Chesterfield, Derbyshire Dales, Derby City, Erewash, High Peak, North East Derbyshire and South Derbyshire.**

Overview

Who should attend?
Anyone who has wanted to solve problems with technology and produce solutions but haven’t had the technical skills to do so. If you are interested in what AI can do for your business over and above basic content generation using ChatGPT, this workshop is for you.

You don’t need to have a technical background or understand programming languages as we’ll go through some of the basics at the start of the day.

** To get the best out of this workshop you should bring a laptop along on the day so that you can do some vibe-coding and follow the examples.**

• Basics of programming and software design
• Tools and platforms you can use
• Live examples (websites, simple tools, and full-blown apps)
• Prototyping and proof-of-concept development
• Planning a project
• Prompt engineering
• Hands on vibe coding session

Eligibility:

This workshop is open to established businesses located in Amber Valley, Chesterfield, Derbyshire Dales, Derby City, Erewash, High Peak, North East Derbyshire and South Derbyshire.

Receipt of this support is subject to the Subsidy Control Act (2022). To qualify an enterprise cannot have received more than £315,000 Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) and or De Minimis within any three-year period.

The project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
