Newark-based Viridis provides a range of services including mechanical, electrical and public health design; advice and consultation; contract administration; project management; renewable designs; energy and net zero route maps and funding support.

The business was set up in 2011 by founder Lee Marshall CEng to provide compliant cost-led environmentally friendly buildings.

In 2025 Viridis received the People and Culture Award from Construction Excellence. Current projects for Viridis include work for Rolls-Royce in Derby and estate decarbonisation for Lincoln College.

As a Chamber patron, Viridis can engage with the Chamber’s 4000-strong membership of businesses across the East Midlands and influence the shaping of policy when the Chamber meets with political leaders.

East Midlands Chamber Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: “Viridis is an award-winning business committed to driving sustainable approaches to design. Working with the region’s firms, Viridis is helping innovate through the expertise it provides.

“I am pleased that Viridis is to extend its patronage with the Chamber, enabling continued close collaboration.”

Viridis Founder and Managing Director Lee Marshall said: “The East Midlands is at the heart of everything Viridis stands for. It’s where we built our business and as we continue to grow, as more and more workplaces recognise the building-first approach we are so proud of, it makes sense for us to work closely with East Midlands Chamber whose values align so well with ours, when it comes to prioritising sustainable growth.

“We’re very pleased to extend our patronage with East Midlands Chamber, working alongside Paul Humphreys, the Chamber’s Head of Innovation.”
