East Midlands Chamber has announced its strategic partnership with Nottingham Trent University (NTU) is to be extended.
The extended collaboration for 2026/2027 enables NTU to influence the shaping of policy when the Chamber engages with policymakers and the region’s business community, in addition to partnership with Generation Next – the East Midlands Chamber network for professionals aged 18-40.
Named university of the year five times in six years, recent accolades include:
- Sports University of the Year (Daily Mail University Guide 2026)
- 1st in the UK for course quality (Uni Compare 2027)
- Top 5 in the UK for employability (Uni Compare 2027)
- 3rd Best University in the UK (Uni Compare 2027)
East Midlands Chamber Chief Executive Scott Knowles said: “A key ingredient in driving growth across the East Midlands is business engagement with educators. Valuable insight can be shared around skills provision, with leading research informing future-ready thinking.
