Head of Enterprise

Paul is the Chamber's Head of Enterprise and is responsible for the delivery of its enterprise and business support products and services across the East Midlands.

This includes the Chamber's publicly funded enterprise contracts, including the Growth Hubs for Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire worth over £3m.  Over the last three years, Paul and his team have supported over 2,500 businesses and over 150 new starts.

Paul also manages the Chamber’s 47,000 sq ft of business space at Brian Clough Business Centre in Derby, the Leicester Food Park and Friars Mill in Leicester.

Paul is also responsible for the Chamber's publicly funded enterprise contracts, including DWP and D2N2 Local Enterprise Partnership contracts.

Paul most recently managed the ERDF Funded Derby Coaching for Success Project, delivered in partnership with the Chamber. The project engaged with over 350 businesses over the last 21 months, delivered over 700 days of coaching support to business clients as well as events and Masterclasses.

Paul also managed and delivered an ERDF funded Innovation Support Project for Chesterfield Borough Council. The project involved delivering direct business support to SMEs in Chesterfield as well as organising and hosting networking and master class events.

Paul was the Young Person Loan Fund Adviser for Derbyshire Enterprise Agency responsible for promoting and supporting young people to access the fund. Since November 2012 the fund has supported over 40 young people accessing over £260,000 of funds.

He lives in Matlock with his family and enjoys watching Matlock Town FC.
