Leicestershire Business Awards 2020

Thank you to everyone who joined at the Leicestershire Business Awards this year. 

We were blown away by the amount of people who joined us on the night and the event has been viewed nearly 1,000 times. It's great to see that despite challenging times the Leicestershire business community coming together.

There is some amazing work taking place across our region and we will continue to champion the East Midlands and our members.

Award Categories

Business Improvement through Technology

This award recognises organisations that have integrated technology into the way they work, to help them grow their business. Entrants for this award must demonstrate how they have used the power of technology to work more effectively and increase their ability to meet the needs of their customers. Businesses will need to demonstrate the effect that the technology has had on their work.

This award recognises businesses, charities and social enterprises that have implemented Corporate Social Responsibility as part of their business planning. Entrants will showcase how they identified, and made a positive impact on issues within their local community. Businesses will demonstrate not only the impact their actions have had, but also the process that went into the planning of their CSR activites.

Outstanding Growth

Morningside Pharmaceuticals logoThis award is open to businesses of all sizes and rewards those that have experienced exceptional growth in sales, profit, market share, jobs or international trade. Finalists will also need to demonstrate how the plans they have in place to make sure that the growth is sustainable.

Environmental Impact

RSM logoThe Environmental Impact Award will be awarded to an organsation which has put environmental sustainability at the core of its business. The winning business will demonstrate a measureable commitment to making a positive impact on the environment.

OpeSales and Lettings logon to young professionals aged between 18-35 who can demonstrate clear and rapid progress within their field of work. Apprentice of the Year

The Apprentice of the Year category celebrates the business leaders of the future. The award recognises the rising stars of business who have made an outstanding contribution to the organisation they work in. Finalists will demonstrate how they have shown exceptional progress during the past year.

Entrepreneur of the Year

This Award recognises a dynamic and creative business leader. The winner will showcase their drive, tenacity, vision and an ability to provide inspirational leadership.

Education and Business Partnership

Small Business of the Year

Entrants will demonstrate current activity to grow market share and the effect this is havong on business performance.

Business of the Year

MazarsThe Business of the Year award sponsored by Mazars is chosen by the judges from the winners of the other indivudal award categories. The business of the year will be awarded to a business which has shown excellence in their field and is an exemplar to all other businesses within Derbyshire. It will showcase the quality of businesses and the expertise within the county.
