As part of our commitment to enhancing East Midlands businesses and communities, we work with schools across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire to deliver our objective of enriching the education of students and to enhance their employability skills.
Through our Chamber Schools initiative, we are bringing together students and representatives from the business world. Choosing to become a Chamber Schools Volunteer is just one way you can help make a difference to schoolchildren in your community.
Are you willing to share your real-life work experiences with schoolchildren, then this is a great start. The level of commitment is up to you. It can be as much, or as little, as you are able to offer. Being able to inspire young people by sharing more about what you do, and the world of work in general, we know will have a positive impact on those you are talking to.
