Who will benefit from this project?

This project is about enhancing equal access to lifelong learning, including practical routes to help enable individuals to progress onto further qualifications.

The project is open to all people working in eligible SMEs, however we aim to support employees who may face additional barriers to high-level skills, including:

Those who have previously missed out on traditional educational opportunities

Courses

Advancements in technology has meant digital, both working practices, marketing and analytical problem-solving, has become increasingly important.

We have experience of delivering basic and intermediate courses in Word, Excel and PowerPoint amongst other things – speak to us about your specific requirements and we will work together to meet your need.

EUROPEAN SOCIAL FUND - Fully Funded Courses

Inspire

The ‘Branch out in STEM’ (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) are fully funded, meaning they are offered without any cost to eligible participants. They are part funded by the European Social Fund and the delivery partners, which include University of Derby, Nottingham Trent University, Derby College, Nottingham College, East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Enable, and the Workers’ Educational Association.

Additional Information

SMEs based that are based in the D2N2 area (Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire) are eligible for support.

– Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are defined as:
– Less than 250 employees
– Annual turnover under EUR 50 million or; Annual balance sheet less than EUR 43 million
