about

Branch out in STEM

The world of business is rapidly evolving and ensuring staff have the most up-to-date skills is essential in keeping up these changes. Advancements in technology and the working environment have meant digital, analytical and problem-solving skills have become increasingly important. The Branch out in STEM project aims to improve people’s data skills and wider STEM knowledge (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths).

The ‘Branch out in STEM’ (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) are fully funded, meaning they are offered without any cost to eligible participants. They are part funded by the European Social Fund and the delivery partners, which include University of Derby, Nottingham Trent University, Derby College, Nottingham College, East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Enable, and the Workers’ Educational Association.
