Hear from Sir Nic Dakin MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice about the opportunities and benefits of partnering with His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) and the Working Week Project and experience the project first hand with a tour of the facilities at HMP Ranby.

The Government manifesto committed to break the cycle of reoffending by “improving offenders’ access to purposeful activity, and to better support prisons to link up with employers and the voluntary sector to get more people with convictions into work.”

The Working Week Project delivers on this manifesto commitment by working with five prisons to maximise their capability and capacity to deliver business services through:
1. Enhancing their industrial spaces
2. Recruiting additional staff to facilitate
3. Transforming daily prison regimes to extend the working day
