Since coming to office, Donald Trump has placed a range of wide-reaching duties on nearly every country in the world. In addition to this the USA has also placed numerous additional duties on various specific products, both policies may have massive implications with our exports to the USA. In this course we explore how, as a UK exporter, we can establish what duties would be applicable to our USA customers, ensuring that the right origin is applied to our products.

Exporter Services was established in 2010 by Sue Wright. Initially Sue delivered training in several areas of International Trade for Chambers of Commerce. The business model was to expand from Training to offer assist exporters and importers with issues that they may have. This included offering a Helpdesk Service, preparing and presenting documents for Letters of Credit and offering a full Shipping Department service for SME’s.
The business is successful and well established today with a team of 15 employees. Training has expanded to have 4 trainers and the operations side of the business continues to grow.
