The first phase of the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) has now concluded, and we are now entering a crucial consultation period to define the next 3-year priorities. We need your insight.
Over the past three years, the LSIP has delivered major achievements across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, including:
- £1.5 million deployed into industry-informed training, facilities and curriculum development
- New provision in green technologies, digital skills, robotics, AI and leadership
- More than 4,000 learners and 260+ businesses benefited
- Stronger governance and collaboration through new Local Skills Accountability structures
