In this session, we will provide a concise overview of the main pieces of UK environmental legislation that are relevant to most businesses. Our aim is to equip delegates with a broad understanding of key areas such as waste disposal, energy, F-gas regulations, and carbon emissions.

This webinar is delivered by Loreus Ltd, a ‘spin-off’ company originally based at Nottingham Trent University. Loreus was founded by two leading environmental experts at the University and has grown to be an international, quality provider of environmental support.

The session will also provide delegates with an opportunity to ask questions on the day; these will be answered throughout the webinar at an appropriate time.

• An overview of main areas of environmental legislation
• Waste & hazardous waste legislation
• Carbon reporting legislation
• F-gas legislation
• Environmental permitting
• How to stay up to date on environmental legislation

Eligibility:

This webinar is open to established enterprises located in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

Receipt of this support is subject to the Subsidy Control Act (2022). To qualify an enterprise cannot have received more than £315,000 Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) and or De Minimis within any three-year period.

The project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
