This workshop is for businesses ready to move beyond using their CRM as a simple address book. It provides a practical roadmap to turn your CRM into the central engine for your sales process, introducing the core ideas of Revenue Operations (RevOps) to align Marketing, Sales, and Service and drive efficient growth.

Who should attend?
This workshop is designed for Sales Leaders, Commercial Directors, RevOps/Sales Ops professionals, and Founders/MDs who are responsible for revenue growth and sales team performance.

What’s covered:
• From Contact List to Sales Engine: What is a CRM (really) and why does it matter? How to get your team aligned on it as the "single source of truth" (the core of RevOps).
• Building Your First 'Real' Pipeline: A step-by-step lab to define 3-5 simple, clear sales stages (e.g., 'Qualified,' 'Proposal,' 'Closed') and the simple rules for moving a deal from one stage to the next
• Adoption & Data Hygiene: Getting Your Team to Actually Use It: Simple tactics to make data entry easy and show the "what's in it for me" for salespeople. How to build adoption from day one
• Forecasting You Can Actually Trust: How to use your new pipeline to build a simple, accurate sales forecast (even with just a little data)
• Pipeline Reviews that Help, Not Hinder: A simple template for a 30-minute weekly pipeline review that helps your team win deals, not just report on them
Connecting the Dots (MQLs & SQLs): What happens when Marketing generates a lead? We'll map the simple handoff from a 'Marketing Qualified Lead' (MQL) to a 'Sales Qualified Lead' (SQL) so nothing falls through the cracks

• A simple, documented 3-5 stage sales process, ready to be implemented in any CRM
• A practical template for running simple, effective pipeline reviews and sales forecasts
• An "Enablement Checklist" to support your sales process (e.g., templates, playbooks)

• You will leave with practical actions that you can implement in your business straight away

Digital High Growth Academy is a programme of workshops brought to you by East Midlands Chamber in collaboration with Nottingham Trent University, University of Derby and University of Nottingham. It is aimed at businesses in the EMCCA region.
 

Eligibility:

This workshop is open to eligible high growth businesses located in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire that can demonstrate 20% annual growth in revenue, employment, or market share over the past three consecutive years.

 

You must be registered on the High Growth Accelerator project.

 

Receipt of this support is subject to the Subsidy Control Act (2022). To qualify an enterprise cannot have received more than £315,000 Minimal Financial Assistance (MFA) and or De Minimis within any three-year period.

 

The project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
