About the Quarterly Economic Survey

The QES is the biggest business survey of its kind in the East Midlands. Results provided by Chamber members are analysed to help shape crucial policy discussions locally, regionally and nationally.

Many members use the results to gain a competitive edge and find new opportunities, using this knowledge to see how their local markets are faring.

The results also feed in to the British Chambers of Commerce QES, the largest and most representative independent business survey of its kind in the UK.

The Chamber publishes the results of each QES in an easy-to-understand report for members, which interprets the main findings and how they compare to previous quarters. The reports highlight any underlying trends in the economy and provides an authoritative overview from the Chamber.

Each report is fed into the national Quarterly Economic Survey, the biggest regular independent business survey of its type in the UK, to provide an accurate, up-to-date snapshot of the economy. An archive of past reports can be viewed below.
