RIQC Limited is an independent certification body, originally accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) as the only internationally accredited certification body specifically established for the railway industry.
RIQC Limited are seeking a Certification Body Manager who shall operate as a ‘Decision Maker’ supporting the management of RIQC operations and undertake Lead Audit activity where required. The individual will be expected to support RIQC’s management system processes, liaise with UKAS, advise Directors & colleagues on QHSE latest developments and best practices, promote, and develop business opportunities, maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, contribute to the tendering, evaluation, and negotiation process for the award of contracts and agreements.
Due to RIQC’s Railway bias, RIQC are looking for an individual with a sound railway engineering background. This may be a combination of maintenance depot, operational or infrastructure experience. Alternatively, a sound background in Engineering that would be demonstratively transferable, particularly to the Scope of Accreditation RIQC holds.
The individual shall have strong lead audit experience and working and operational knowledge of the ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 standards RIQC are accredited for.
Health and Safety qualification to a minimum NEBOSH General is required.
The following skills are also preferred, but not essential:
• Personal Track Safety certification/experience.
• A reasonable knowledge of Non-Destructive Techniques and processes, particularly for UAT.
• A working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17021-1: 2015 for Certification Bodies.
• Hold HNC/HND in Engineering.
