East Midlands Chamber annual report 2019/20 now live

Achievements from across various teams within East Midlands Chamber are showcased in the latest annual report.

The 2019/20 report includes key information for the financial year that ended March 2020 and highlights how the Chamber has worked towards reaching its vision of supporting East Midlands businesses and communities.

It also covers how the Chamber has responded to coronavirus, including the East Midlands Coming Together campaign, the move towards virtual delivery of events and services, and representing the region’s business community to key decision-makers.

Looking ahead to 2021, the report also offers an insight into how the Chamber is involved with helping young people enter the labour market via the Kickstart scheme, mobilising its international trade team to keep overseas trade flowing and using the new Sustainable East Midlands campaign to support businesses in engaging with the sustainability agenda.

Businesses the Chamber has worked with across various services are featured, including Round Corner Brewing, S&J European Haulage and Lanka Kade.

The 16-page report also features welcomes from the outgoing Chamber president Dawn Edwards and chief executive Scott Knowles, who offer reflections on the past year.
