Ketchup Marketing welcomes new head of search

Nottinghamshire-based Ketchup Marketing has welcomed a new team member Luciane Barbosa as head of search - and signed up five new marketing projects.

Luciane’s experience of Google (she’s a self-confessed Google nerd!) will bring added value to the agency’s clientbase, in the form of growing organic positioning and creating pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns designed to drive traffic and increase sales.

Luciane, who’s previously run two agencies based in the UK and the US, said: “My focus is taking client assets to the next level with complete digital assets audits and identifying new opportunities and forecasts across channel activities. I'm also responsible for optimising the plans and strategies on a regular and ongoing basis and staying on top of current SEO and marketing trends.”

Within the past week, the agency has sealed four new websites (one of which is an e-commerce site), an advertising campaign, a contract for SEO and strategy and a further contract to provide PPC and social media management. This new business covers a range of industry sectors including hospitality, financial management, retail, transportation and specialist construction.

Ketchup is also preparing to welcome a new digital marketing strategist to join its growing team and two new job placements via the Government’s Kickstart scheme.
