DNS take on the 2500k challenge as part of #ActiveApril

Document Network Services are celebrating their 25th year in business, throughout the year the team will be participating in many activities to homage to this. From throwback pictures on social media, a new website and also virtual events the year is set to be jam packed.

However, the team didn’t want to stop there… instead they have taken on a challenge to push themselves to the limit. DNS will collectively be running, swimming, cycling, jogging and walking 2500km throughout April. Not only improve our mental & physical well-being but also to raise money for the incredible me&dee charity. Some team members have even promised to finish off the challenge by running around Pride Park in inflatable costumes!

Me&dee charity was formed in 2006 and is a completely self-funding charity and depend solely on donations so that they can help families create very special memories.

Time is precious for families who find themselves facing a life changing, life shortening or terminal conditions therefore, me&dee provide a break in a very special lodge for them to create precious memories to hold on to forever. As those moments shared with the ones we love, no matter how complicated the circumstances are, are the most precious of all.

By making a donation you help me&dee deliver something that means the world to both adults and children, ensuring that the environment and the experience they have is somewhere to cherish, love and remember forever.

“I, we and me&dee are so very proud and deeply appreciate the support show to us by DNS from the day we met you. No man is an island, we simply cannot do what we do (with such a tiny team) without the support of the wider business community and public. You prove our saying – anybody can give something, anybody can do something, anybody can be a hero for me&dee,” Maria, me&dee founder.

The DNS Team are very much looking forward to getting suck into their challenge, here’s what Marketing Manager, Georgia had to say:

“I’m really looking forward to beginning this challenge, albeit 2500km is a little daunting to say the least (especially with me not being an avid runner) but it is for a fantastic cause. The work Maria & Mark do at me&dee is phenomenal and they bring such joy to the families going through the most challenging times but can’t do it without donations. I hope we are able to spread the word and raise a great sum of money.”
