The EUDR (European Deforestation Regulations) comes into force December 2025 for export/import to the EU of multiple commodities (and their derivatives) including wood, rubber, soy and more.

There is no exemption for small companies.

If you export to (or import into) the EU you need to ensure compliance with the EUDR.

Overview

This webinar will give practical advice (for non-expert) on understanding EUDR.
- The Purpose and Scope of the EUDR
- The commodities and the derivatives covered by EUDR
- Who is covered and when (the phased regulations)
- Who is responsible – who is the ‘Operator’
- Who is responsible for the EUDR Due Diligence Statement (DSS)?
- The practical steps of HS and CN codes and Record keeping for the DSS
- The potential penalties for non-compliance.

The webinar will be example based and provide opportunities for questions.

The webinar will be delivered by James Butcher (CEO, Innoscope Ltd) who is an independent consultant and speaker with decades experience of global supply chains with major international brands.
