Description

The Chamber will host its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the National Space Centre, Exploration Drive, Leicester, LE4 5NS, on Tuesday 9 December 2025.

The event is open to all Chamber members and is free to attend. AGM papers, proxy and voting information will be available w/c 11 November and will be sent to members via a separate eshot.

Overview

At the event, hosted by the Chair of the Board of Directors, Kevin Harris, Dawn Whitemore will reflect on her year as President, and Chief Executive Scott Knowles will give a business update to members. There will also be speeches by winners of the 2025 King’s Award for Enterprise and the three Community Foundations supported by the Chamber’s Charitable Fund, as well as a celebration of longstanding members.

The event will include a breakfast expo / networking / marketplace event from 8.30-9.30am, followed by the AGM 9.30-11am. The marketplace event will primarily be aimed at member charities and CICs to showcase their activities and initiatives and to give members an opportunity to get involved.

Following the event, attendees will have access to the National Space Centre for the rest of the day (worth £21) and will be eligible for 10% discount in the NSC shop.

Additional Information

We will have space for up to 16 exhibitors in the AGM registration and refreshment area, ensuring maximum exposure for exhibitors with delegates. Information detailing all exhibitors will be shared with delegates and used on social media platforms in the lead up to the event.
