The Chamber will host its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday 8 December 2026 at Great Northern Classics - https://www.greatnorthernclassics.co.uk/

The event is open to all Chamber members and is free to attend. AGM papers, proxy and voting information will be available w/c 9 November and will be sent to members via a separate eshot.

Overview

At the event, Dr Cham Kang will reflect on his year as President, and Chief Executive Scott Knowles will give a business update to members. There will also be speeches by winners of the Chamber’s 2025/26 Business of the Year Awards in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire and the three charities supported by the Chamber’s Charitable Fund, as well as a celebration of longstanding members.

The event will include a breakfast expo / networking / marketplace event from 8.30-9.30am, followed by the AGM 9.30-11am. The marketplace event will primarily be aimed at member charities, social enterprises, and Community Interest Companies to showcase their activities and initiatives and to give members an opportunity to get involved.

Following the event, attendees are welcome to stay on for a tour of the facilities, and lunch will be available to purchase from the Café.

Additional Information

We will have space for up to 20 exhibitors in the AGM registration and refreshment area, ensuring maximum exposure for exhibitors with delegates. Information detailing all exhibitors will be shared with delegates and used on social media platforms in the lead up to the event.
