Description
Come and find out what happens at the UK's largest heritage Tram Museum. The National Tramway Museum in Crich is located on the site of the former mineral railway that used to transport limestone from the quarry next door to the railway at Ambergate. Get up close to some of their iconic heritage vehicles, see the evolution of tram transport through the Century of Trams exhibition, and witness how the museum is breaking new ground by restoring a 1st Generation tram that will be fully accessible and able to be driven by a wheelchair user.
