East Midlands Chamber is pleased to announce that we are partnering with North Notts BID to deliver a joint business networking event on Tuesday 9th June at The Bridge Skills Hub, Worksop. This event is exclusively open to East Midlands Chamber members and North Notts BID members.
Our collaboration is simple: to strengthen connections across our local business community and create new opportunities for collaboration, growth and procurement.
By bringing together East Midlands Chamber members and North Notts BID members in one room, we aim to:
• Encourage closer working relationships across the wider networks
• Promote local and regional procurement opportunities
• Highlight the significant investment and energy developments taking place in Bassetlaw, North Nottinghamshire
• Raise the profile of North Nottinghamshire as a place to do business

Presentations will cover clean energy and the many opportunities that will become available at the three former power stations and East Midlands Investment Zone (EMIZ) site:
• STEP Fusion Energy Plant at West Burton
• GeoPura at High Marnham
• Data Centre for AI at Cottam - Former Cottam power station to become UK’s first nuclear-powered data centre
• EMIZ site at Explore Park, Steetley
Outcome
Discussions will explore regional investment, supply chain and procurement opportunities and how businesses can position themselves to benefit, particularly in relation to the Trent Super Cluster, including STEP Fusion at West Burton, High Marnham Power Station and Cottam Power Station.
