This is an invite-only roundtable on energy, bringing together businesses and key stakeholders to shape the Chamber’s approach to energy affordability, availability and resilience. As part of our ongoing lobbying and representation work, building on our Framework for Growth, we are keen to ensure our priorities are firmly grounded in the real experiences and challenges facing businesses
Overview
The roundtable is likely to cover themes such as:
• Energy pricing and market volatility
• Contract management and access to advice
• Government support and policy effectiveness
• Grid capacity and infrastructure constraints
• Reducing energy use and supporting decarbonisation
• Business engagement with regional and national energy planning
We have also taken into account additional comments provided from invitees.
The aim of this work is to develop a clear, evidence-led position to inform:
• The Chamber’s lobbying priorities
• Practical support for businesses
• Engagement with key energy stakeholders locally and nationally
