Description
As regulatory expectations evolve, supply chain transparency is becoming a fundamental component of compliance. Global regulators are increasingly requiring companies to move beyond supplier declarations and demonstrate visibility into material origins, sourcing practices, environmental impacts, and supply chain due diligence processes.

Requirements emerging from the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), EU Battery Regulation, Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), including future Digital Product Passports, and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) all point towards a common expectation: businesses must be able to substantiate compliance through reliable, traceable supply chain data.

Essentially, the challenge is no longer responding to individual regulations in isolation; the challenge is developing a scalable approach to supply chain governance that can support multiple, global regulatory frameworks simultaneously.
Overview
In our upcoming webinar we’ll be examining exactly how supply chain transparency is reshaping compliance obligations and importantly, what companies should be doing now to prepare for increasing regulatory scrutiny. The session will be valuable for professionals in the areas of customs; regulatory compliance; supply chain management; procurement; sustainability; product design and management; quality, risk, and governance; manufacturing; distribution; and retail.
Outcome
By the end of the session delegates will be able to:

Understand the regulatory drivers behind growing supply chain transparency and traceability requirements.
Identify how regulations such as CSDDD, ESPR, EUDR, and the EU Battery Regulation rely on supply chain data and due diligence processes.
Distinguish between transparency, traceability, chain-of-custody, supplier due diligence, and product-level data requirements.
Recognise common compliance data requirements across sustainability, product safety, ESG, trade, and market access frameworks.
Assess company maturity and identify gaps in supplier onboarding, risk assessment, data collection, and supply chain governance.
Understand the growing role of Digital Product Passports and product lifecycle information in future compliance programmes.
Develop practical strategies for building a future-ready transparency and traceability framework that supports multiple regulatory obligations.
