Free to attend and open to all members, these meetings convene on a quarterly basis to direct lobbying activities on a broad range of topical issues affecting jobs, growth, and the economy.
Tackling local, regional and national issues affecting business, a cross-section of business leaders will assess the Chamber’s lobbying activities based on intelligence from across the county’s membership.
At a time of profound political change and ongoing economic uncertainty, the Chamber encourages its members to engage in these meetings, so that compelling and influential messages can be conveyed to a broad range of strategic stakeholders at a local, regional, and national level.
Overview
The purpose of these groups is to understand the current business climate and provide direction as to how to influence key local, regional, and national policymakers, with the Chamber keen that its members engage on the issues causing them most concern.

- Reaction to the governments Spring Forecast, taking place earlier in the day
- Update on the various devolution and local government reorganisation options, due for submission to the government for consideration – Scott Knowles, Chief Executive Officer, East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire)
- A roundtable discussion on current economic conditions, policy, lobbying for 2025 - this is an opportunity to provide your thoughts on priorities and content to be delivered on your behalf
