As a Key Account Executive, you will ensure Chamber members receive exceptional value from their membership. You will manage a portfolio of key accounts by strategically aligning their goals and ours to achieve an exceptional customer experience.

Building, maintaining and strengthening business relationships with the portfolio of key accounts while ensuring high levels of engagement, satisfaction, and retention is an essential part of the role.

Key areas of responsibility

  • Build, maintain and strengthen relationships with key accounts – ensuring high levels of engagement, satisfaction and retention.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders within key accounts to align Chamber products services with their business goals and maximise mutual long term value.
  • Implement strategic plans to achieve account growth.
  • Collaborate with the membership and marketing teams to ensure seamless account delivery and enhanced member experience.
  • Monitor key account performance, track engagement levels and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Overview

Applicants will possess

  • Proven experience in a membership, customer success, business development, or relationship management role.
  • Strong desire for innovation and able to envision and gain agreement on workable value-adding business solutions.
  • Experience of working with a diverse range of businesses at all levels.
  • Strong, professional communication skills at all levels (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency with CRM software.

If you’re successful at this stage, you will be invited for an interview. If you’re unsuccessful, the Chamber’s HR team will let you know by email.

First, you’ll be invited to an in-person interview at the Chamber’s Nottingham office on 5 June 2025. If your interview goes well, you may invited to attend a second interview or offered the role. Some interviews might require you to compile some research or to prepare a presentation. At the end of the interview, the interviewer will confirm the timeline for next steps.

Interviews usually last around an hour with a mix of competency based interview questions, and in some cases, we might ask you to carry out some practical exercises.

Decisions will be made at each stage of the process, as we score applicants against the role criteria. If you’re successful, we will contact you to make an offer. This will be followed up in writing and a contract will be sent to you once a start date is confirmed. You will receive information on your induction and what you will do on your first day. If you have any questions, please just get in touch.
