Business Crime Advice and Support
Operating a profitable business can be difficult at the best of times. So, when your company is targeted by criminals, it can seriously affect the viability of the business.
For the past 20 years, the Chamber has supported the region’s businesses by offering security guidance and bringing businesses together to tackle crime issues in their area.
We offer a range of services to help you stay ahead of the potential threats and focus on running your business, including:
BusinessWatch: Tailored support to help protect you, your employees and your business against crime, plus support to reduce your overall security costs, starting with a free Premises Security Review.
ShopWatch: Bringing retailers together to combat shop theft and anti-social behaviour in town centres.
Cyber Security Support: Expert technology and information to reduce the risks of an internet security failure.
As we move towards the digital age, crime is increasingly being perpetrated online, and it is now more important than ever for businesses to ensure that they are as resilient online as they are in the physical world. For the Government’s latest advice on protecting your business online visit Cyber Aware or the National Cyber Security Centre.
In addition to these services, the Chamber works with key stakeholders across our three counties, such as the police and local authorities, to ensure that business crime is paid due attention and that the interests of our members are properly represented.
