Chesterfield Digital High Street
Are you a small or micro retail, hospitality or leisure business in the borough of Chesterfield who has relied on your street-side presence for your success?
The Chesterfield Digital High Street project is here to support you to transition into the online world.
We are offering to help you create a highly visible e-commerce website equipped with the latest forms of payment, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay and to embrace solutions such as “click and collect” if you don't already have them.
You will have a dedicated Digital High Street adviser with specific e-commere and online skills to work alongside you, helping you to develop and maintain your new or existing digital presence. You will also have access to dedicated webinars and marketing resources.
Grants of £2,200 – covering 100% of costs – are also available to help eligible businesses without an online presence set up a fully e-commerce-enabled website that is search engine optimised, web hosting provision for one year, and access to ongoing training.
The Chesterfield Digital High Street Project is funded by Chesterfield Borough Council and delivered in partnership with East Midlands Chamber (Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire).
It is part of ongoing work by the council and its partners to support the economic recovery of the borough following the impact of Covid-19, which includes a suite of support for local businesses.
